AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE.
AS FAR AS NECESSARY.

We produce as close as possible and as far away as necessary. For each product, we weigh up where we can achieve the best balance of quality, materials, technical expertise, environmental impact, and a fair selling price.

The vast majority of our products continue to be manufactured in Europe. At the same time, there are products for which production outside Europe is the more sensible solution. We make this decision consciously and for each product individually.

Why we don't produce exclusively in Europe

Proximity is important but should not be defined by a clear line. Over the past ten years, we have deliberately favored production in Europe. In doing so, we sometimes had to make compromises in terms of technical possibilities, materials, and costs.

Our aim is to offer good, durable products at affordable prices in the long term. That's why we now consider for each product which production partner is best suited for it.

  • Expertise & Quality

Technically sophisticated products require specialized expertise. We sometimes find suitable partners for this outside of Europe.

  • Materials & Deliveries

Many raw materials and innovative materials come from outside Europe. Therefore, it may be useful to process them closer to their origin.

  • Affordable and fair price

We want to offer high-quality products at affordable and fair prices. Therefore, production costs are also a factor in deciding where a product is manufactured.

Production in Europe does not automatically mean fair wages and good working conditions. What is crucial for us are clear standards, regular controls, personal contact, and appropriate certifications. Both within and outside Europe.

Our partner Jenfaith has already visited us in Aarau.

Partnerships are personal to us.

Partnerships are personal to us.

For us, good collaboration is not just about emails and video calls. Even with partners further afield, it is important for us to meet people in person and build long-term relationships.

In April 2026, Fred, Eva and Effie from Jenfaith visited us at the TreeHouse in Aarau. Together we discussed products, materials and our future collaboration.
