Why a treehouse?
When we started thinking about our first own store, one thing quickly became clear: another shop with clothes on the wall and a checkout counter – that's not enough.
We wanted something that felt real. A space that sounds, smells, and looks like NIKIN. A place where you don't just walk in, pay, and leave – but stay.
The answer was: a treehouse. Right in the heart of Aarau.
A real tree runs through all floors. Swiss wood dominates the aesthetic. And everywhere there are little corners that you only discover on the second glance. The TreeHouse is our home – and now it's yours too.

Some things are only available here. Not online, not elsewhere. That is intentional.

NIKIN Bialetti
Coffee with character.
A classic espresso maker, a subtle Tree logo, no unnecessary frills. The NIKIN Bialetti is in the TreeHouse, but it also belongs in your kitchen, your backpack or your tent. For everyone who likes to drink their coffee intentionally.

NIKIN Forest Syrup

Tastes like a forest clearing in spring.
Together with Le Sirupier de Berne, we have developed a syrup that tastes of resin, cool shade, and a long morning outdoors. With water, it’s a summer drink – in the kitchen, a surprise. Regional, artisanal, and honest: exactly what we like about this collaboration.
TreeSocks Aarau
Aarau on your feet.
Two sides, two symbols: the NIKIN tree logo on one, the Aarau eagle on the other. A small, honest detail for anyone who feels connected to this city and this brand. Made from 80% bamboo viscose with polyamide and elastane – soft enough for everyday wear, durable enough for whatever comes next. The ribbed shaft fits snugly. Fairly produced in Europe.
NIKIN Forest Ale
Brewed with Stadtwächter Aarau
From Aarau. For everyone who was out and about.
Stadtwächter is the local brewery from Aarau. We are the sustainable label next door. Together we brewed a beer that smells of spruce forest and tastes of home. Golden yellow, crisp, 4.5%. The right choice after a long day – or in the middle of it, if the context allows.
More than a store. A meeting place.
From the beginning, TreeHouse was planned as a place for people – not just a place for products. We hold regular events, talks, and evenings focusing on what moves us: sustainability, design, community, and sometimes just a good beer.

Directions: The easiest way to get there is by public transport: Aarau train station is an 8-minute walk away, and the "Aarau Holzmarkt" bus stop is right outside the door.
If you come by car: Kasino/Citymärt parking garage (3 min walk) or Kasernen-Parking (10 min walk).
We recommend – and nature even more so – the former.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are there products that are only available at TreeHouse?
Yes – some of these items you can only get on site: The NIKIN Bialetti, the Circular Hoodie with back print, our forest syrup, Aarau socks, and the Forest Ale. Come by, it's worth it. And new products are always being added.
Is the tree in the TreeHouse real?
Yes, the tree in the NIKIN TreeHouse is real! It is a larch tree that fell during a storm in the Lenzburg region at the end of 2024. Measuring almost 9 meters in length and weighing approximately 350 kg, it is a true natural masterpiece that was carefully hung in individual pieces using a steel cable construction and extends throughout the entire NIKIN TreeHouse.
Do I get the same discount in-store as online?
Discounts from the online shop also apply in the TreeHouse – as long as they are active. It is best to inquire directly on site.
Can I return my online order at TreeHouse?
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns at the TreeHouse – as we do not have the complete range of products on site, this is not possible. If a size doesn't fit and the correct one is available in our store, we're happy to exchange it. For all other cases, returns are simply handled through our online returns portal.
Is the store barrier-free accessible?

May I bring my dog?
Yes – as long as he is small and also likes nature and good coffee.
