Why doesn't NIKIN produce everything in Switzerland?
Switzerland only has a few clothing manufacturers left. Many processing steps and materials are no longer available here. That is why we work with specialized producers in Europe and, in a few cases, also in Asia.
Why do you also produce in Asia?
For individual products or materials, there are no suitable production facilities in Europe. In such cases, we work with carefully selected partners in Asia who meet our requirements for quality, transparency, and working conditions.
How do you control your suppliers?
We rely on long-term partnerships, personal visits, and close communication. In addition, we adhere to recognized standards and certifications where appropriate. This allows us to continuously develop our supply chain together.
Do you visit your producers?
Yes. We regularly visit our producers in person. This direct exchange helps us to further develop products, to solve challenges together, and to strengthen our partnerships.
Why do you primarily produce in Europe?
Europe enables short transport routes, close cooperation, and regular visits to our producers. At the same time, we find a wealth of experience here in manufacturing high-quality clothing.
