Since 2016, we've been planting trees. Product by product.

Since our founding, we have been planting a tree for every product sold. Together with our community and partner organizations, we have already planted millions of trees and supported numerous reforestation projects around the world.

In the current TreePlanting project, we are planting trees in the Ndankou and Patte forests of Senegal.

More than just a tree.

Trees store CO₂, protect soils, filter water and create habitats for animals and plants. At the same time, healthy forests secure the livelihoods of many people. That's why we believe that every tree planted makes a difference. With our TreeTracker, you can also track where your tree was planted and what impact it has had with every order.

One Tree Planted

We have had a close partnership with One Tree Planted for many years. Together, we support reforestation projects on several continents and continuously develop our projects. Personal exchanges and mutual visits show that our cooperation goes far beyond a classic partnership.

We have been working with veritree since 2024. Together, we support reforestation projects in countries such as Kenya and Senegal, and we meticulously document the impact of our tree plantings. This enables us to further develop our projects in a more targeted manner and provide transparent oversight.

Does NIKIN really plant a tree for every product?

Yes. Since our founding, we have planted one tree for every product sold. Together with our community, we have already been able to plant millions of trees.
How much does a tree cost?

There is no uniform price for a tree. The costs depend on the respective afforestation project, the country, and the services included. These include, for example, the cultivation of seedlings, planting, care, success monitoring, and cooperation with local organizations.

In Switzerland, a tree planting costs us on average between 3 and 10 CHF. For international afforestation projects, the costs per tree usually range between 0.25 and 2 CHF, depending on the project.

However, what is decisive for us is not the price of an individual tree, but the long-term impact. That is why we work with experienced partner organizations and support projects that make a sustainable contribution to nature and local communities.
Where are the trees being planted?

Together with our partner organizations, we support reforestation projects on several continents. Depending on the project, the focus is on biodiversity, forest protection, CO₂ sequestration, or supporting local communities.
How can I see where my tree was planted?

With our TreeTracker, you can track where your tree was planted for each order and what impact the project has on site.
Which organizations does NIKIN cooperate with?

For many years, we have been working closely with One Tree Planted and veritree. Some of our trees have also been planted in cooperation with other local partner organizations.
Why doesn't NIKIN plant all trees in Switzerland?

We also plant trees in Switzerland, and together with our community, we have already planted over 5,000 trees. At the same time, in international projects, we can rewild particularly large areas and provide support where the ecological and social benefit is especially high.
Can I participate in tree planting campaigns myself?

Yes. We regularly organize Tree Planting Days and other nature-related activities with our community. We announce upcoming dates via our newsletter and social media channels.
