Making clothes is our profession. Protecting nature is our conviction. Since day one, we've been planting trees, getting people outdoors, and building a community that does more than just buy. Not because it's good for business. But because we believe it's the right thing to do.

Overview

So we go the extra mile

  • A tree for every product

Since 2016, we have been planting a tree for every product sold and supporting reforestation projects worldwide.

  • Active together
    for nature

Whether it's Tree Planting Days, Neophyte Days, Clean Ups, or Biodiversity Workshops. Together with our community, we get stuck in outdoors.

  • Sharing knowledge and inspiring

With TreeHouse Talks, lectures, and workshops, we bring people together and create space for new ideas concerning nature and sustainability.

  • A community with impact

Over 250,000 TreePlanters show what's possible when many people take shared responsibility for nature.

Tree planting

For every product sold, we plant a tree.

Together with our partners One Tree Planted and veritree, we plant trees worldwide and help forests and habitats regrow.

Community

Together
for Nature

Our community makes a difference. Together, we plant trees, organize neophyte days, clean up forests and cities, and raise awareness for nature with events and lectures. Because together we can do more for nature.

Our purpose is "Grow a community to plant trees and protect nature"

Together with the municipality and the Egliswil Nature and Bird Protection Association, we actively committed ourselves to the protection of biodiversity. On NIKIN Neophyte Day, numerous helpers removed invasive plant species, thereby creating more space for native flora and insects. After an introduction by experts, participants got to work outdoors in small groups – with impressive results: a total of around 20 neophyte sacks of 60 litres each were collected, which corresponds to approximately over 200 kilograms of plant material. After the effort, we ended the day comfortably with a barbecue, food, and drinks. Thanks to everyone who diligently pitched in!

The TreeHouse Talk with Diego Walder was all about life outdoors, entrepreneurship, and the story behind the traditional Spatz brand. Diego shared how he brought Spatz back into Swiss hands, why outdoor culture means much more than just adventure to him, and what we can learn from a simple life in nature. Guests gained exciting insights into the brand's development and an exclusive look at the collaboration between Spatz and NIKIN. We rounded off the evening comfortably in front of the TreeHouse in Aarau's old town – with homemade stick bread cooked over a fire.

At the first TreeHouse Talk of the year, Swiss biologist and adventurer David Bittner took us into the wilderness of Alaska. For over 20 years, he has been researching the behavior of grizzly bears and shared impressive up-close experiences. It was not only about the animals themselves but also about topics such as respect, trust, risk management, and decision-making. A fascinating and inspiring evening about our relationship with nature and ourselves.

Our mushroom event with Ruedi Jean-Richard on Wednesday, October 1st, was fully booked and a complete success! Together with the mushroom inspector from Aarau, we roamed through the Aarau forests in the best (mushroom-friendly) weather, learned to distinguish edible from inedible species, and listened to exciting stories about the world of mushrooms. To crown it all, the collected finds were prepared together, and delicious mushroom bruschetta was enjoyed. An evening full of nature, knowledge, and pleasure!

What truly makes good coffee – and how sustainable can the industry be? At the fourth TreeHouse Talk, Nicolas Vuille (Caffè Uno) and Philippe Gacond (Home Barista Shop) shared their expertise and passion for coffee with us. In addition to exciting insights and honest exchange, our guests were able to discover a special highlight: the new forest coffee with spruce needle fermentation. The new coffee shirts – partly made from coffee grounds – also sparked curiosity. An all-round successful evening centered around sustainable coffee enjoyment.
