The big renovation
From the first plans to the installation of our storm tree: months of planning, several night shifts, endless wood, and a lot of heart went into the creation of the TreeHouse. Some of you also lent a hand on the community building days, and together we were able to set up the largest treehouse in Switzerland.
The opening event
On March 1, 2025, the time had come: a long queue stretched in front of the door early in the morning, and 800 people came to celebrate the grand opening with us and inaugurate the TreeHouse. It was an absolutely overwhelming feeling to see our treehouse so full! The first 100 visitors were lucky enough to get a goodie bag – including a NIKIN voucher, of course.
Various TreeHouse Talks
From forests and mushrooms to rivers and coffee – last year we welcomed many exciting guests who shared their inspiring knowledge about nature and the world with you. What always pleases us most about these events, however, is the space for exchange that is created here. This year we are again planning exciting TreeHouse Talks with fascinating people that you won't want to miss!
The Rüeblimärt
All of Aarau was in carrot fever, and we were right in the middle of it! The numerous visitors to the city festival – including Stefan Büsser – were thrilled with our carrot socks, which is why we were sold out by noon. Overwhelmed by your feedback, we very much enjoyed being part of one of the largest events in our new home. Our personal favorite: the giant carrot that Robin built for our window!
A big thank you!
As we indulge in nostalgia, a feeling of enormous gratitude fills us. Without our community, the last year would only have been half as memorable, and it makes us proud to see our vision become reality through you. For this, we sincerely thank you! We are already looking forward to seeing what our second year here in Aarau brings...
