The TreeShirt Circular was developed to be repeatedly returned to the material cycle and recycled without sacrificing quality. It is made from 96% biodegradable polyester naNea and 4% biodegradable elastane. This allows the microparticles to degrade in the environment rather than persisting over time. Should it ever be disposed of, it can be chemically recycled into raw materials for the next collection. The innovative naNea material degrades by over 93% in seawater within 99 days (according to ASTM D6691-17). Thanks to Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold certification and the use of naNea, the shirt leaves no harmful microparticles or residues. The striking orange embroidery on the hem symbolizes NIKIN's circular innovation and replaces the conventional flag label.
