CHF 10,000 from Christmas sales will go to BOS Switzerland. This is only possible because our community once again demonstrated good taste and environmental awareness by purchasing NIKIN gifts. The Bornean orangutans are sure to celebrate you too, after all, they are the ones who benefit from this. So, dear community: well done!
This is what BOS Switzerland does in Borneo
BOS Switzerland has been committed to protecting the last remaining Bornean orangutans since 2004. A large part of this involves preserving and protecting the animals' natural habitat, the tropical rainforest in Borneo. This is achieved partly through reforestation and the protection of existing rainforests. It also promotes alternatives to palm oil plantations. For example, rural communities are encouraged to become self-sufficient and educational programs are developed. Poaching is also being combated.

Stay tuned, also in 2022!
BOS Switzerland's projects demonstrate how dependent not only humans but also wildlife are on healthy and natural forests. It's equally clear that the greatest threat to Bornean orangutans comes from humans themselves. With this in mind, we look forward to contributing to positive change with you and hope that you will continue to drive this change with us in 2022.
