Sam Weber ( @samrogue ) is a doctor, content creator, and nature lover. He currently lives in Zurich, but is originally from Zofingen in Aargau. He wears the pride of his heritage not only in his heart but also on his feet—more on that later. Sam brings a blend of closeness to nature, sustainability awareness, and creativity, which he likes to combine in his everyday life.
From photography to fashion philosophy
For Sam, NIKIN is more than just a brand: "NIKIN was closely linked to the start of my photography career from the very beginning," he explains. The camera was new back then, as was the idea of sustainable fashion. NIKIN has been with him ever since, and now vice versa. What's special about Sam: He enjoys being outdoors, is active, and is actively committed to a better future. As a doctor, he knows the health effects of environmental pollution. And as a content creator, he wants to share his thoughts with his community and inspire them to be more mindful of themselves and nature.
The rain jacket as the perfect companion
When asked which NIKIN product is his favorite, Sam has a clear answer: "The Sympatex rain jacket . Many outdoor jackets are coated with chemicals that can be harmful to both the environment and one's health." For someone like Sam, who cares about nature as much as his body, it was a real highlight to find a jacket that is not only functional but also fairly produced—without any harmful substances.

He wants to show that it's still possible to travel mindfully and responsibly.

For Sam, being close to nature is not only part of his lifestyle, but also a counterbalance to his everyday life. Just like his connection to the community—be it the local one in Zurich, his roots in Aargau, or the digital one on social media.
