The collaboration with Lithuanian companies Skinija and Utenos is an important part of NIKIN's strategy to produce sustainable clothing and accessories in Europe. The choice of production locations is based not only on geographical proximity, but also on the values ​​shared by NIKIN and its partners. Lithuania is a country with a long tradition in the textile industry. Since gaining independence in 1990, the industry has modernized and adopted higher standards in sustainability and work ethics.

More than just socks

Introducing Skinija. The company is a leading sock and tights manufacturer in Lithuania and was founded in 1996. Skinija has been producing socks for various professional sports teams and outdoor brands for years – and now also our NIKIN TreeSocks. The socks are made from high-quality raw materials and are produced in compliance with strict labor ethics regulations.

Everything under one roof

Clear the stage for: Utenos trikotažas. Our second newcomer to the manufacturer circle is the largest and most modern knitwear manufacturer in Central and Eastern Europe. The company operates with a vertical manufacturing model, where everything from design concept and yarn to the finished product h. This allows Utenos to ensure production quality and apply the highest standards in terms of sustainability and work ethics. NIKIN Bodywear tops and shirts are also produced in their facilities. Interesting fact: Utenos is an official supplier to Greenpeace, because almost no one else meets their criteria.

Visiting Lithuania

"Fundamentally, NIKIN isn't just looking for suppliers who produce our products, but manufacturers whose values ​​align with ours. Ultimately, we prefer to build long-term partnerships," emphasizes Robin.
