NIKIN customers have already planted over 260,000 trees. Thanks to this tremendous success for the environment, the next milestone for NIKIN is now underway. Co-founder Nicholas Hänny has been nominated for the title "Aargauer of the Year".

Each year, the Neue Aargauer Bank awards the prestigious title "Aargauer/in of the Year". This year, Nicholas Hänny, who founded NIKIN together with Robin Gnehm, is nominated. Today he is CEO of the young company and says: "Actually, the entire NIKIN family is nominated. The many trees planted are the merit of every single person."

Exceptional Achievement

The Neue Aargauer Bank (NAB) selects the Aargauer or Aargauerin of the Year every year. This year, Nicholas Hänny is nominated alongside seven other individuals. According to the NAB, the award is intended to honour people who have achieved something extraordinary.

Voting now open


The award ceremony will take place on November 16th at Trafo Baden. Until then, voting is open. The three candidates who receive the most votes by November 3rd will make it to the final, and one of them will be elected Aargauerin or Aargauer of the Year at the award ceremony in November.
