Fabian Lavater is originally from Basel and currently lives in Biarritz (France) to pursue his passion for surfing. Fabian Lavater has loved drawing and painting for as long as he can remember. For a long time, art was merely an intense hobby alongside his studies. After completing his Master's degree in Sustainable Development with a focus on economics and an unsatisfying year trying to lead a "normal" life, he decided to turn art into his profession. Today, he still finds inspiration for his works in surfing, the ocean, and nature.

However, his Master's degree in sustainability did not leave him untouched. In a process of awareness, he began to change his eating habits, his mobility, and his consumption. Whenever possible, he tries to choose the most environmentally friendly product available.
