Transparency in the production of goods and products is an important and, above all, legitimate issue. It's important to us that the community knows where we have our new TreeShirt or Treekini manufactured. Let me state one thing right away: all of our items, except for the TreeBottle , come from Europe, but more on that later.
Here NIKIN produces
A large portion of our bodywear comes from Portugal, while most of our accessories are manufactured in Poland and the Czech Republic. Our FactoryTracker shows you exactly where your TreeShirt, Treeanie, or TreeSocks are manufactured on an interactive map. You can use the search function to find the manufacturing location of a specific product.
Personal relationship with the manufacturers
We know many manufacturers personally because we visit their production sites. On the one hand, it's important for us to verify that the producer we choose meets our quality standards. On the other hand, we value the opportunity to deepen the business relationship on a personal level. "We see our manufacturers as partners in our mission to offer sustainable, fairly produced, and affordable fashion. Everyone has to be on board, so we help each other and build close relationships," confirms NIKIN co-founder and CEO Nicholas. The exception
Only our TreeBottles aren't made in Europe. There are several reasons for this. Firstly, we value the quality of our manufacturer in China. We have already checked their standards several times through research and inspections. Secondly, it's very difficult to find a suitable producer for TreeBottles in Europe, as there are almost no production facilities here. "We're constantly considering how we could bring TreeBottle production closer to us. So far, we haven't found a suitable alternative," confirms NIKIN co-founder Robin, Head of Product Development, adding, "However, our TreeBottle Glass is made in Europe. It was a long process, but it was worth it!"
